Ryan Whittelsey '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello Coaches,

Football has taught me so much in my life.  The game has taught me to push myself in all aspects of life. In the classroom I take the most rigorous classes and do well which is reflected in my 4.0 GPA.  I work to be the best athlete and person on and off the field and lead by example.  My leadership skills have earned me the respect of my teammates as I have been voted into a captain's role for next year.  My hard work this past season really paid off with a strong showing. My team won the conference and advanced to the second round of the state playoffs, I totaled 141 tackles and 11 sacks (both school records and 1st in the conference), making me a 1st Team All Conference player, runner of for the defensive player of the year and Defensive Impact Player of the year.  I have been recognized by prestigious organizations for my skills.  Rivals noted me as one of the top tacklers in the state, and I was invited to partake in the Army All American Combine. The most important thing to me is working with my teammates to improve and be the best we can be with a goal of winning the state championship.

I am looking for a school that provides a solid education and a competitive football program. A school where I can grow as total person.
