Personal Statement
My name is Carter McLellan. I am a realistic student athlete who values education over any sport. I'm a blue collar, hard working student athlete. I practice and play as though it is my last play on a football field. I pride myself in being a team player and lead by example not words. I would be grateful if a school gave me the opportunity to represent their institution on the field, in the classroom and eventually out in the real world. I take nothing for granted and appreciate everything I have.
I'm not... selfish, arrogant or hard to coach. I am...humble, motivated and up to any challenge put in front of me. I'm a "we" kid not a "me" kid and look forward to meeting with any school and coach that represents these values.
I take pride in the classroom and work hard to get good grades. I understand that school and my grades will take me further in life that any stat on a football field. I'm currently taking 6 hours of additional tutoring each week so I can improve my reading, comprehension and math. Without these skills I know my opportunities in life will be limited.
Don't under estimate my desire and passion. I'm confident I can be a valuable addition to any football program and promise 100% commitment to my school work and my team!
I look forward to hearing from you soon,
Regards,
Cater McLellan
