Personal Statement

My name is Brian McDonough. I am a 4.5 star longsnapper ranked 3rd in NC and 50th Nationally under Rubio Long Snapping in the class of 2014. I attended a prep school in Matthews, NC for this past semester to raise my overall GPA and my core GPA. I attended Jireh Prep post grad from August 2013 until December of 2013. At Jireh Prep I started all 12 games on punt and PAT/FG. I went to high school at East Forsyth located in Kernersville, NC. I graduated from East Forsyth in June of 2013. At East, I was a 2 year starter on varsity as a longsnapper and won Special Teams MVP my senior year.

Form has always been exceptional and now he is letting his body take over instead of his mind. Looked great in NC. Easily snaps at D1 speeds when he really uses his whole body. By Vegas, if he snaps the same way, he should easily be a 4.5 or 5 star. Blocking and athleticism will be keys for him. Excellent attitude."
