Joshua Crotts '15 Recruiting Profile

I am a dedicated and determined student-athlete-leader.   What I might lack in speed and size, I more than make up for in my work ethic, drive and technique.  In fact, over the past two years I have worked extensively with Coach Bill McNally, former college and professional o-line coach, in both group and one-on-one settings to improve my techniques and fundamentals at both pass pro and zone blocking schemes.  I can play any position on the offensive line and feel I am best suited as a center or guard.  I actually started my football experience as a defensive lineman and was selected as an Eastbay All-American as an 8th grader and played in the Eastbay National All-Star game. So, I am confident in my skill and ability to play on either side of the ball.  I know that I will continue to grow and mature, as I am almost one year younger than most of the players in my year group.  I know that in order to be a success on the field you must have more than ability...you must possess the heart, courage and mental toughness to overcome any obstacle or challenge that is placed in your path…that is where I excel. My goal is to attend college for an outstanding education but would welcome the opportunity to contribute to the success of that schools football program.
