Personal Statement
I have been playing the game of football since I was a small child and was able to play. I was introduced to the game by my father who played football all of his life and he continued to play up to the college level. What I hope to get out of this program is to better myself, improve my skills, and to play at the college level, then to the NFL. I would also like to give back my time to help out other student athletes who are willing to listen and learn from me in order to better themselves. But more importantly, I am mainly concerned about getting a great education from whichever college I attend because education is the key to my future.
Football is not the only sport I play or have played. I have also been playing baseball just as long as I have football. For a few years, I played basketball, but I do not have the same love for basketball, as I do for football and baseball. After middle school, I stopped playing basketball and just focused on football and baseball.
I take great pride in my school work and maintain excellent grades. I primarily take Honors and AP courses, which I work extremely hard in. I am a member of the National Honor Society and the National Beta Club. I want to be greatly prepared for my SAT and ACT tests so that I will be eligible for good colleges.
I volunteer a great deal of my time to my community by picking up trash, helping out younger children with sports, helping with events in my town and at my church and a few other things.
I am very coachable and I am a team player. I like having tight bonds and solid relationships with my teammates because it makes any team stronger. I am willing to help my team out in any possible way that I can.
