Kollin Byers '16 Recruiting Profile

My name is Kollin Byers.  I am 6’5” and 240lbs.  My main priorities in life are God, school, family, and improving as a football player.  I have been playing football since grade school and have incredible love for the game.  I am fortunate to complete my junior year on a team with a 16-0 season.  In addition, we are the 3A State Champions and 3A South Mountain Conference Champions.   I devote my time on enhancing my skills on the field, weight training, and nutritional programs.  I train all year, including off season, to continue to improve my strength, agility, and flexibility.  I am a leader on the field, working hard each play, drill, and workout.  I push myself to achieve my personal objectives and strive to demonstrate my athletic abilities on the field.   My ambition is to play college football and focus on my academic goals.  I respect my coaches as they mentor me in the positions that demonstrate my strengths as an athlete.  I consider myself as being competitive, coachable, and a hard working player to ensure I make a positive impact in all my endeavors.

During off season, off the field, I believe in encouraging and volunteering to assist others in community events.  I make every effort to role model good moral character and critical thinking skills.  I am trustworthy and committed to succeeding as a student and a player. 

Currently I am training for my senior year while preparing for camps and combines this summer.  Football is my passion and I am committed to make a big impact on any team which I play.  I am looking forward to attending a school with high academic standards.  I am exploring my options on possible majors or field of studies.
