Hello, my name is Chase Hodges. I am a rising senior at South Iredell High School (Iredell County, NC). I currently reside in Mooresville, NC, entering my fourth year on the football team. Throughout my high school career, I have maintained a good academic standing with many logged hours of community service projects. I am currently participating in an IB Programme – a rigorous academic course of study. My current GPA is 4.103 (weighted), ACT score of 27, and SAT score of 1770 (writing included). In addition to my good academic standing, I am involved in Boy Scouts of America – Troop 173 (Piedmont Council/Gemstone District), currently working on my Eagle Scout project. As part of both scouting and the IB Programme, I complete over 80 hours of community service, annually. I am very excited for college and would like to continue athletics at the next level. However, my main focus is to participate in a program that will prepare me for a professional career in Veterinary Medicine or a related Biology course of study. Based on the challenging aspects of the IB Middle Years and Diploma Programme, I am well prepared for the challenges of college --balancing academic, athletics, community and social responsibilities. I am motivated and excited for the opportunities available to me as I embark on the next chapter of my life.
