Personal Statement

My name is Drew Londo. I am a multi-sport athlete, but I recognize football to be my predominant sport. I am a 6'1, 170 pound quarterback, defensive back, safety, punter, and punt returner.  My teachers and coaches say I am a natural leader.

I run the huddle on offense and turn around and control the secondary on defense. I have been given the honor to represent my team as a captain since my sophomore year.  My understanding for the game permits me to play any position and my coaches say I am a natural at DB.   I have 35 consecutive varsity starts under my belt finishing up senior year. I play every second of the game; offense, defense, and special teams, never coming off the field.  I made the All Conference 2A Football Team this season.

I have never been the biggest kid, but my fundamentals allow me to be a weapon on the field, and I have the confidence to line up against any opponent.  My love and passion for the game fuels me to fight until the final whistle. It has always been my dream to play football in college. I am just waiting for the opportunity.

I am proud to say my team ended the season as the 2AA Conference Champions and going to the NC State playoffs with the home field advantage for the 1st time in 19 years!  That is a huge victory for my team considering we only won 1 game in the previous 3 years, had 4 head coaches in my 4 years on the team, and only had 25 guys dress out last year for games.  So being 2AA Conference Champions this year makes me extremely proud of the hard work and dedication of my team.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
