Personal Statement
Hello Coaches and Recruiters,
The death of my father this past January has changed my perspective on how I play football. Before, I played football as a self-centered individual. I only cared about how I performed and how the team performed. I did not think about the people who made my success possible and the people who cared about my performance. I now play with a whole new meaning. I play for my community, my school, my team, my coaches, my sister, and my mom. Most important is my dad who told me to think of him when I play. His biggest dream was to see me play college football. That is going to happen no matter what obstacles comes in my way. I play for him and he watches me.
I come from a family and lifestyle that puts an emphasis on hard work. I want to attend a school that has great academics. I realize that life is more than just stats. I have never had anything but a 4.0 GPA and have excelled in school. I have also dedicated myself to being the best football player I can possibly be. Last year I went 8/12 on field goals with a school record 49 yard kick. I also went 34/35 on PATS and helped win 3 games for my team. I was rewarded for my hard work by being named to the All-Heartland Super Squad and All State Class C-1 1st team. Thank you for reading my profile.
Best Regards, Bryce Sealock
