Jonathan Mayer '17 Recruiting Profile

Ever since the first day I put on pads and walked onto the field I fell in love with the game of football. The first time I ever played in a game I knew that I wanted to play football in college. Playing for a college team has been my dream since I was 10 years old. I feel that I work hard in the classroom to get good grades and strive for better test scores every time I take one. I feel being able to do well in the classroom is one of the most important parts of being a student athlete because your education is the reason for being there and you get to live your dream while doing it. I feel that I am the best candidate because of my desire to play the game, my work ethic in the gym and during the off season, my pure drive to become the best possible football player I can be. I bring 100% every play and strive to get to the end zone everytime I get the ball.
