Personal Statement
Hey Coach thank you for checking out my profile. My name is Charlie Tordik and I have been playing football for about three years now. I started Freshman year and became a team captain and led the team in tackles as a defensive tackle and end, and also playing the other side of the ball as an offensive tackle. This past year was my Junior year and I started every game on the Varsity team and had 56 tackles, 22 of which being solo, and 2 sacks. I was a leader on the team in tackles and was also elected captain along with making the 1st team all division, and 3rd team all area.
I currently run a 5.3 forty which I am working on endlessly to lower, a 4.6 shuttle, bench 265, squat 385, and deadlift 505. I work extremely hard in the weight room to get stronger and run faster, currently working out in the weightroom 5-6 days a week. As a student I have a 3.6 weighted GPA and take AP, Honors, and one CP class. I have not yet taken the SAT/ACT but am preparing for them and will be taking them in January.
My collegiate goal, as well as my life goal, is to earn an education in legal studies and pre-law in order to enroll in law school after college, while playing world class collegiate football. I am a definite candidate to play on a college football team because of the fact I am extremely hard working, a leader, and very coachable. Our high school team motto is to compete in everything we do whether that is on the field, in the classroom, or competing to be the best person you can be and I live to that everyday. I try to outwork everybody on my team while also acting as a leader and showing how all my hard work does in fact pay off on the field. One day I know I will be able to give my 100% effort for any team I play for at the highest level possible. Coaches, thank you again for checking out my profile and as a candidate to play on your football team.
