Personal Statement

I have many goals and aspirations I'd like to achieve. Academically, my goals are to stay on top of all my classwork; asking for help when I don't understand assignments. Setting a designated time each day to complete all homework and to study.  And to attain and maintain a 3.8 and higher G.P.A. for the duration of my high school tenure and throughout college.
Athletically, I will study and learn all plays, listen to my coaches, be a team player at all times, and workout daily.  I aspire to be one of the hardest working, best all around and/or position players (DE, OG,) in my university's conference and to win a championship.
I would be an excellent candidate for your team because: I take directions and critiques well and learn from them in order to improve my game, I am without a doubt a team player, and I'm a hard worker, (who never gives up), both on the field and in the classroom.
I am different from other recruits in that I have: unrelenting determination, a positive outlook in all areas of my life, and confidence that I WILL overcome any obstacles that are placed before me.
On the field I'm different from other recruits because: I'm driven and determined to always do my best, confident in my abilities on the field, and always promotes positivity and a 'never say quit' attitude.  I am committed to putting in the work to be the best person/player I can be.
In the classroom, I am determined to do well and strive to do my best in class everyday.  I understand the importance of being a student-athlete and preparing for life after football.
I heard this saying one day and now I live by it, 'When you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, then you will be successful.'  And that's what I will be - SUCCESSFUL.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
