I play MLB, TE and FB for Moorestown High School. My high school coaches have mentioned that I may be playing some DE this year, particularly as a rush end. Last year, I focused on defense.
I am working as hard as I can both in the classroom and in the weight room. Currently, I have A’s and A+’s in all my classes, including AP government and AP Physics I. My GPA is 3.6 and I am working to continue to improve upon it. As a sophomore, my combined SAT is 1320(math 690; reading and writing 630). I recently took the SAT, again, with the intent of improving upon my last score. My goal was to raise my overall score to 1500.
I am in the weight room every day after school, and sometimes return to it after I finish my school work late at night. I will be bigger, faster, and stronger when the start of the season comes around. After giving it sufficient thought, I decided not to wrestle for Moorestown High School this year in order to prepare for, and ensure my success for, the rapidly approaching football season. I have realized football is a full year commitment and have dedicated myself to it year round.
A large part of my drive and determination to succeed both on and off the field comes from having a solid support system at home from my parents and siblings. My two brothers Albert and Jimmy were both recruited for football at the Ivy Leagues and similar athletic and academic institutions. Albert is a senior at University of Pennsylvania with a 3.9 GPA and Jimmy is at Dartmouth College with a 3.8 GPA. Albert and Jimmy both had Academic Indexes between 225-235. I am hopeful that I can perform as well as they did on the SAT and present you with a similar Academic Index.
I presently have two D1-AA opportunities where the coaches have requested that I apply ED. I have met individually with top academic and athletic D1 head, defensive coordinator, and recruiting coaches. I have also attended various junior days this spring and individual visits at top academic and football schools. I appreciate and am humbled by the consideration these wonderful coaches and schools have offered and look forward to the future. I will happily make myself available to meet with coaches at their convenience. Thank you for taking the time to read about me. Have a wonderful day.
