Personal Statement

I am a hard working individual. I know that nothing will be handed to me on a silver platter. I not only work hard on the field but also in the classroom. I have an average GPA of around 3.5. Also I have been taking an AP math class for three years. I plan on taking AP U.S. history next year along with a college math class. I know it is my duty as a good citizen to help others, that is why I do as much community service as I can when possible. I also have a job at the Philipstown Recreation Department, I started there last year as a CIT(consoler in training) and plan on returning there this upcoming summer to be a consoler. I also know its my duty to take care of the elderly and I try to go to see my great grandma and my grandparents as often as possible. I am not only a good citizen but also a dedicated athlete. I played sports all my life. When I was younger I played baseball, basketball, soccer, and football. I stopped playing soccer and basketball once I went into middle school, and then stopped playing baseball starting this year. I have been dedicated to football since 4th grade. In the off season I always work out 4 times a week in the schools weight room. I start doing that 2 weeks after my season ends and continue until the day my season starts. I also have a speed trainer that helps me become more explosive and faster. I also attend college recruiting camps. I hope that football can help me get into a great college and after college have no debt because of football. I realized that football teaches you not only to work as one unit but it also makes a young boy become man.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
