Personal Statement
Coaches, My name is Ryan Monette. I am currently a senior at St Thomas Aquinas HS in Dover, NH. I am 5'9" and weigh 150 lbs. I have a current GPA of 3.5. I have played on the Varsity team both ways since my sophomore year. My positions are, on offense- QB in wildcat, RB, SLOT and WR. On defense- SS and DB. I also play on special teams as a KR and PR. I am a very diverse player and I am open to all options. I was the first sophomore to receive a Varsity football award in the history of St Thomas Aquinas. I have attended several camps, clinics and combines and I have been rated as one of the top recruits in the state of NH for the Class of 2013. I finished my junior season season ranked one of the top backs in the state. I rushed for 1,438 rushing yards and 19 touchdowns on 166 carries. I made 25 catches for 416 yards and four TD’s. In addition on special teams I averaged 48 yards per return and scored two more TD’s. I workout in the off season at The Next Level Sports Training several days a week to stay in optimum shape and improve on my football skills. I am interested in attending a college or university that would be a good fit for both myself and the school. I want the fit to be both academic and athletic. I would like to make a contribution to the school that I attend both academically in the classroom and athletically on the football field. I feel that I have the ability, athleticism,drive, incentive, maturity, passion and skill to accomplish both goals. I am a very hard worker and I will do what ever it takes to succeed. As an individual I consider myself to be open, honest, very hard working and a leader by example. I look forward to the opportunity to prove myself on and off the field. I am open to and welcome all types of schools that are looking for an individual like myself. I attended the 2012 BLUE CHIP INVITATIONAL by Dick Bell on May 26th and ranked #1 in both the 40 yard dash with a time of 4.47 and the 20 yard shuttle with a time of 3.97, here is the link to that site for the official results, http://naps03.com/stats12kutshers.htm

THE REGULAR SEASON 10-26-12 ENDED (9 GAMES )- I am ranked 8th in RUSHING YARDS and 4th in RECEIVING YARDS in the STATE of NH.
I HAVE BEEN NOMINATED TO PLAY IN THE NH MAPLE SUGAR BOWL.
I HAVE BEEN SELECTED TO PLAY IN THE NH EAST- WEST HIGH SCHOOL ALL- STAR GAME.
I WAS SELECTED FIRST TEAM, ALL- STATE- OFFENSE.
I WAS AWARDED TEAM MVP.
I WAS SELECTED NH FOOTBALL PLAYER OF THE YEAR by FOSTERS.
I have been told by college coaches who I have worked out for doing positional drills that my game film is impressive but to see me live in action is much more impressive.
