Drew Sanborn '15 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to play college football at the DI level.  I'm a great athlete that played multiple positions for their high school team.  But as a college player I would love to punt.  In high school I was a three year varsity starter punting and received multiple accolades for my punting achievements.  As a sophomore I was selected to first team all state, as a junior I was selected to first team all conference and as a senior I was selected to first team all conference for the second year in a row.  My academics are steady I have a 2.9 GPA and my SAT score is a 1440.  I work hard in the classroom and off the field for football.  I'm constantly trying to improve my punting year round by attending multiple college kicking camps such as Pittsburgh, Virginia, UCONN, and East Carolina.  During the offseason I go out on multiple occasions to improve my punting to get ready for college.  You'll see me in the weight room constantly improving my flexibility and my strength competing with all the other athletes.  I feel like I would be a great fit for your team because not only am I a punter, but I'm a great hard working student athlete.
