At the high-school level, I have started on both sides of the ball at fullback and linebacker as well as some defensive end. As a freshman, I was thrown into the varsity-level-fire at both of those positions running the Double-Wing and excelled. This was due to an upperclassmen's shoulder injury, leaving me as the only qualified replacement. At that time I was only 150 lbs. soaking wet and stood 5'7" tall. My teammate was unable to resume playing, allowing me to fill in his shoes at FB and Mike linebacker. At end of the season, I was awarded Rookie of the Year by my head coach, Denis Hoffman. Sophomore year had me starting those same positions on varsity, receiving 1st team all-state fullback, with a total of 800+ rushing yards and 6 TD's running the Triple Option Veer, and culminating in an undefeated, 11-0 season. My coaches were impressed by my yards-after-contact, which will hopefully be noted in my video. Junior year, I was taken by suprise by being named Co-Captain. My coach had me in on a rotation at fullback and halfback on offense, and I played the whole game on defense. I am an A/B student who hasn't decided on what he wishes to do yet. Iam hoping to get a degree in Mechanical Engineering, but I am still in the process of chosing between that and Teaching. I have not been exposed to that much in the passing game, which I see as a weakness I have and equally as a goal to improve on.
