I have been described by my coaches and others that know me as focused, driven, hard working, tough and smart. I would describe myself as a highly motivated and competitive person and I try to be the best at whatever I do in all aspects of my life--from the football field to my community. I work hard in the classroom and have a 3.9 GPA and my goal is to have a successful football career while pursuing a college education in order to prepare me for life after football.
Football is my passion and I have been playing since I could remember. In addition to football, I played basketball, baseball and lacrosse and have excelled at each. As a freshmen I earned a varsity letter playing lacrosse and was the freshmen quarterback. Sophomore year, I began playing varsity football and basketball and lettered in both . As a sophomore quarterback I was named 1 Team All Conference.
My junior year, I led my team to capture the division championship. I threw for 2,134 yards and 23 touchdowns, setting three school records, and I ran for 6 touchdowns totaling over 300 yards. During the season I was named Courier News Player of the Week; and also added to MSG Varsity All-Metro Watch List; I was also named 1st team: All Conference, All County, All Area, and 3rd team All State. Furthermore, I was ranked inside the top 50 pro-style QB in the nation by 24/7 Sports.
This year, I led my team to capture another division championship. I am a Maxwell Football Club Award Winner - New Jersey Player of the Year. I threw for 2,078 Passing Yards, 20 TDs and only 2 interceptions & Rushed for 9 TDs, 448 Yards and 6.89 Yards Per Carry. As a 3 Year Varsity Starter at Bernards High I broke and set Bernards High Passing Records with 5,270 Career Passing Yards & 51 TDs and the most yards in a game. My career rushing record is 16 TDs, 866 Yards & 7.23 Yards per Carry. I was names 1st Team: All Conference, All County, All Area & All State Group 2. I have been recognized by MSG Varsity as a Top Tri State QB & I was invited to participate in the MSG Varsity Tri State QB Shoot Out and was in the Top 10 at the event. My team was ranked this year in the MSG Varsity Small School Top 15 in the TRI State Area. And my team broke and set the new school points scoring record with 400 points, 58 TDs, 36 PATs, 14 Conversions & 1 Safety & Averaging 36.4 Points a game.
I am dedicated and diligent in my quarterback training. I have been training with Kevin Carty, former UNC quarterback for about 4 year now. I train with him every Sunday in the Spring. I also throw almost every day. I am constantly working on my craft and will not stop until I reach ultimate success.
It is important to me that the college I attend successfully prepares me for life after football. Though I do not yet know what single subject I wish to major, I seem to have an inclination towards history and economics. Most likely I will major in business or history, but I am open-minded.
