Personal Statement
My football career started in 7th grade, after watching one game with boys my age, at the time, I fell in love with the sport and it has become a big part of my life. My ambitious and competitive nature brought me to where I am today, and I dream to continue on to the collegiate level. I know that playing in college is a once in a lifetime opportunity, as not many people can say that they have done, but I strive to make it there.
Whether it be in practice, the weight room, my neighborhood, with my teammates, or on my laptop watching film I am always working towards becoming the best student-athlete I can. I train with a passion and to get bigger, faster and stronger. But, as a team captain and leader I always encourage my teammates, to keep our morale high and strong. As I try my best to lead others by example, on and off the field. Off the field and in the classroom studying hard to keep my GPA as high as possible is key to me.I learn and catch on to things quickly making me one of the most versatile and coachable recruits you'll find. Around my neighborhood, I am the leader of the Jr. Usher Board at my church and often do volunteer work at my local Boys & Girls Club.
College is a gateway to various and rewarding opportunities, and no good reward comes without work. So I want to attend a college that pushes my academics and athletic ability to the next level. I am open to all options and want to find the right college that matches me and that plays at the most competitive level possible. I hope to become a great role model to each and everyone of my peers and make my family proud, along with my city that brought me here.
