James Palmeri '14 Recruiting Profile

     I am Jimmy Palmeri, #71 and I am about to start my senior year at St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, NJ. I play football in a very competitive league and play top nationally ranked teams like Don Bosco, Bergen & Paramus Catholic. I am very excited to start the season off as a Right Guard, a position that I feel will be the most productive for me at the next level. I am a hard worker and I am extremely strong. I have good feet and excel at pass blocking as well as being able to move the pile! I have played every position on the O-Line and was one of 60 national players to be invited to participate in the Top Gun camp in Florida as a Defensive Lineman. But what I pride myself most on is my Football IQ and my coachability. I have been told by every one of my coaches that I am extremely quick to pick up on the nuances of the position and the new blocking schemes. During the off season, I am constantly working on improving my skills. I am at the gym lifting or competing on my school's Rugby team.  On my own, I jump rope and attend cross fit training. I will be adding more video as the season progresses. I wear #71  and play Right Guard on offensive.
