Personal Statement
I dream of playing football on the college level. I hope to be recruited by a D-1A or D-1AA school. My dream is to play in the NFL, but I realize how difficult that is to achieve. I'm a very hard worker and want coaches to know that I learn quickly and am always trying to improve my game. I am presently working out with Mr. Scott Brunner (former QB for the NY Giants) to further enhance my skills as a Quarterback.
As a Freshman, I was the starting QB on the JV team while dressing with the Varsity team and since my Sophomore year I have been the Varsity starting Quarterback. As a Sophomore Varsity starter, I received Offensive Player of the Year accolades from my head coach. I led that offense, earning “Football Heroes” honors statewide from The Star-Ledger last October. In the Fall of my Junior year, I broke the school record for longest touchdown pass from scrimmage (90 yards) and received honorable mention as a top Quarterback in the CVC division.
This upcoming season (2013-2014), I was voted Captain of the Lawrence High School Football Team. This will be an honor for me.
