Mark Anthony Fuentes, II '16 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing football for almost 11 years, starting when I was 7 years old.  My goal since I was 7 was to play ball at the college level, as well as have the potential of going pro.  I know, and understand that not all athletes make it to the professional level, but I always play with that possibility in mind.  The first time I stepped on the field, even at that young age, I knew I had a love for the game.  I have passion and determination when I'm on that field.  I have been blessed with a gift to read the game, and determine if adjustments need to be made to my performance.  Each game, I step onto the field with heart and determination, I play to the best of my ability regardless of the circumstances surrounding our team.  I am often looked to as a leader on the field, and in the weight room.  I strive to drive my fellow teammates to work hard from first down to last down.  My parents and coaches have always taught me to work hard, and that nothing is handed out.  If I want to succeed, it takes my full commitment on the field as well as in the classroom.  I never quit, and always push forward to reach the end goal.
