Personal Statement
I have always dreamed of being a college quarterback. Through youth leagues and now at the high school level I have always kept this dream alive. There is no other position in sports that require the leadership qualities that a quarterback brings to his team. That is truly one of my biggest strengths. Arm strength and mobility are key parts to the position, and I possess those, but nothing can replace the leadership qualities that I have been blessed with. I may not be the tallest or the fastest, but I am a winner and that is a characteristic that is hard to find. Athletes today feel entitled, I believe each snap I take is a gift and want to give that gift to a college that wants a good player and person.
My goals as a collegiate quarterback is to become the starter and lead my team to as many wins as possible throughout my career. I think I will be a good candidate because I will work my way to the top in whatever circumstances I may face. I feel that I am different from other athletes because I will come to practice, film, or games with a positive attitude and good work ethic. In all walks of life, we look for leadership. Without question I know I can be a positive addition to any college institution both on the field and in the classroom.
