I am going to go to a great school and major in psychology, business, or maybe even culinary arts. This way, if my dream of playing professional football in the NFL does not become my reality, I will still be on track toward a successful career.
I grew up in a single-parent household with 3 younger siblings. The way our mother has been able to single-handedly make sure we have a roof over our heads, heat when it's cold, air when it's hot, and a hot meal every day makes me want to be that much greater of a man now and to my future family.
I think what sets me apart from other athletes is my drive, mentality, and abilities- both physical and academic. I am currently taking Honors and AP courses because I love to be challenged. Every year, I volunteer to serve dinner and clean up at a local homeless shelter, and I plan to look for more opportunities to help others once the 2014-2015 football season ends.
