I pride myself in my work effort, leadership skills, and confidence. My name is unique and reflects my Native American heritage. It means "first son" and I come from a long line of quality, hard working Moon's.
My Grandfather was 6'3" and played offensive guard for Army (B Team) in West Point during the 1950's. He was a hard working West Point graduate who served his country and went on to a long civil engineering carrier with the army.
I really like playing center /long snapper because it is the anchor of the line and I like being able to provide the base of a great team. I am doing all I can (camps and direct training) to get as much learning as I can to be a great football player. As I work to learn, I look forward to getting access to the best coaches to help me grow.
In sports, similar to life, I always tell my coaches "put me where you want/need me". I pride myself of being the consummate team player - playing anywhere I am needed and always giving best. In everything I do I give 110%, whether it be on or off the field.
As I plan for my future, I stay focused off the field regarding my school work and social awareness. I know being successful in the classroom is paramount to stay on the field. Today, I am an "A" student that challenges myself academically with Honors and AP classes. I am ready for the test.... I am looking for a coach who will take a chance on me.
Where do I want to go to school? My parents and I often talk about my professional career. Right now, I am interested in engineering (aerospace) and want a top notched school that can prepare me for my future. My dad is a VA Tech (industrial engineering) grad and so I know how hard an engineering program will be. My goal is to be a part of a top quality engineering schools to help me unlock my potential.
I am often told I am a born leader. I got my Tai Kwon Do Black Belt when I was nine years old, was the Captain of my travel hockey team, received my private helicopters license, and have completed the town leadership program. In school, I lead through my unique and diverse interests (e,g, orchestra, chorus, social groups, etc.) that I take part in. I am confident in who I am and follow my dreams... not afraid to buck the "norms" to be happy.
I always get the job done and I strive to do it to the best of my ability. I would be a great asset to any team, school, or group.
