Football for me has many benefits such as being physically active and keeping in good shape, physical and mental challenges resulting in personal growth and maturity, and important social interaction and bonding with my teammates and coaches. But what really drives me as a football player is being the guy in the middle of the line on defense and knowing that I am the anchor of how our team will stand our ground. I relish the responsibility of making the opposing offense realize that they CANNOT run the ball inside of their tackles. I have no interest in the glory that comes with the "skill positions". I just want to line up and show everyone on my team that they can depend on me and take as much liberty as they need to in their positions because I WILL HOLD THE LINE!
