2015 Spring Chris...Personal Statement
I am a 2015 punter/kicker from #1 nationally ranked Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas, NV. Chris Sailer of Chris Sailer Kicking ranks me nationally #18 as a 4.5 star punter/kicker and calls me "A top national combo prospect!" According to Max Preps, my 62-yard-punt versus Servite (CA) in 2013 set the new school record at Bishop Gorman as longest single punt in a game. I am also a member of the 2014 Chris Sailer "Event Elite" national invite only camp for specialists and the "Top Gun" invite only FBU camp.
Academically, I am looking for a rigorous program. I am in the National Honor Society with a 3.62 (weighted) GPA. I take advanced science and math courses and I scored a 205 on the PSAT. I scored a 34 on the ACT and a 1,940 combined on the SAT (1,330 Math/Read only). My preferred area of study is engineering and I will attend graduate school as well.
Athletically, I would like to attend a D1 college where I can contribute to a competitive team immediately as a punter and/or kicker. I am constantly working on improving myself and my skills. I am a very hard worker and I am coachable. I also strive to be a good teammate.
One of my other goals is to give back to others. This past year I helped start a charitable foundation to help raise money for Diabetes research.
