Jordan Ober '15 Recruiting Profile

I am the starting long snapper on the Varsity Football team. I have been snapping with Rubio Long Snapping for the past two years and am currently ranked 16th nationally with a 4.5 Star designation according to Chris Rubio. I have been in the Rubio Long Snapping top twelve in each of the past three Rubio Long Snapping national events. In May of 2014, I won the whole national Rubio Spring Long Snapping event with over one hundred and sixty of the top long snappers in the country in attendance. After two days of evaluation, I was the number one seed amongst the twelve finalists and then won the whole competition. My current snap time is .65 with great accuracy. My current time in the forty yard dash is 4.79. Since my freshmen year, I have worked hard to be physically fit and will continue to prioritize my conditioning over the next two years in order to achieve my goal of being a collegiate long snapper. This offseason , I have gained thirty pounds and have managed to stay athletic. My goal is to keep my athleticism and gain another twenty five pounds through my senior season. At Bishop Gorman, I have experienced the pressure of playing games on a national stage and continue to improve in every aspect of the game. I am very coachable and extremely competitive. I am a great choice for any college because I will overachieve both in this sport, as well as in the classroom. I am a great teammate on and off the field. I am considering all universities.
