Personal Statement
I have been playing football since I was seven years old. I have been playing quarterback since I was eight. On the field and off, I always try to lead by example. I guess I have always aspired to play at the collegiate level, but around the age of 11 it became an ultimate goal that I was willing to commit years of hard work and dedication to in order to achieve. Playing college football may not only afford me opportunities but also provide me with some of the most memorable years of my life. Football team mates basically become extended family and friends for life.
I am always working on improving my game as well as training to get bigger, faster and stronger. I am willing to do whatever it takes to meet an expectation. I am a leader to my team mates and a very coachable player to my coaches. I strive to be one of the hardest working players on the field and look to execute perfection at all times. I will always work hard.
In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a pretty high GPA. I also volunteer my time at local youth sports organizations and am currently a Student Ambassador at my school and part of the prom committee.
I want to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom and excel on the football field. I am open to all options and ultimately am looking to find the right college that will allow me to play at the highest level of competition as well as pursue a degree that will help solidify my future. I will strive to be a positive and influential role model to my peers, younger brother and his friends as well as make my parents admire the man I plan to become.
