Personal Statement
My senior year of football has come to an end. There are a few key points of my season that made me stand out for the others. This season i had a game where I rushed for 318 yards which was the most yards rushed by a single back in Section 2 this season. My longest break away rush was for 81 yards for a TD. I was First Team Running Back for the Liberty Division For Section 2.
I work as hard as I can to achieve academic prosperity. I am a multi-sport athlete. I have played baseball for 12 years and that is a great sport of mine and I enjoy it very much, but I realized that football is the sport I love the most and in order to become great I sacrificed it for my love and passion of football. I wrestled for 3 years and thats what gave me my mental toughness on the field. Mainly football ive played for 6 years.
I strongly believe that showing a fierce work ethic on the practice field will display the talents learned on the game field, so far it seems to be paying off. I stand 5 foot 9' tall and weight 205 pounds. I am a Leader on the field as well as off the field. As a leader I like to push my teammates to their limits because its all about effort. Effort is key.
I have something that many athletes don't, that's "heart" and love of the game. When I'm on the field, I transform myself into an entirely different person and work my butt off on every play. Im may not that best, but thats the beauty of it. I have something to work towards and knowing that is what keep my drive. My aspiration is to play D1 football of course but if opportunities arise for me to play D2 or D3 I will devote my self 100%. I am looking to major in Criminal Justice law enforcement and hopefully make it to the swat team.
