Personal Statement
I am a very disciplined athlete. I put 100% into everything i do academically and physically on the football feild and the weightroom. I participate in weight lifting/ weight training throughout the winter and summer months. I attend a 7 on 7 football session every tuesday. I also attend a jump camp that my highschool holds every year where we complete P90X workouts every monday and thursday. The jump camp helps me with lateral quickness and speed. It also increases my indurance and stamina, also my vertical jump. My goals for my sophmore year are to be the second string quarterback as the starter is a senior. I also want to increase my 40 yard dash from a 5.1 to a 4.6. I also want to increase the amount of weight i can bench press and squat to a 150 bench and a 245 squat. I would like to put on more wieght in the form of muscle and get up to 166. At the beginning of my sophmore year i can throw a 35 yard touchdown pass accurately and i would like to increase that to a 45 yard with the weight training. I am going to attend football camps ranging from ones at colleges around my area to the peyton manning camp. Throughout the school year sports did not interfere with my academics. I held a 3.35 gpa my freshman year. I attended a seminar at my highschool. The speaker was Rick Wire the author to "The Student-Athlete & College Recruiting" and this brought me here.
