Nicholas Cipolla '16 Recruiting Profile

As a rising senior, I am starting to get the feel of certain fields of interest.  Business or medical sound like a good fit for me.  However, I am not completely set on a major, so I am consistantly researching different fields and jobs.

 I am 6' , 178 lbs. and run a 4.6 in the 40 yard  dash. I have been playing football since the second grade and it is by far my favorite sport to play. I am a  running back, cornerback, and also a punt/kick returner.  I was made captain of the JV team and was awarded the coaches award at the end of the season.  This past season was a great one for me and our team.  We made it all the way to the AA championship which has not been done in a few years, so our team really stepped up this year.  I ended the season with 518 rushing yards with 54 carries, which has me averaged at 9.6 yards per carry.  I am working hard off season to reach my goal of surpassing this season's results.  I am training hard to get bigger, faster, stronger, and an overall athlete, but most importantly to improve my grades as much as possible.   I also am on the Varsity wrestling team, where I came in 5th place in the 2014 CHSAA states tournament.  On the off season,  I train in boxing and kickboxing, as well as personal training, and personal wrestling lessons.  All in the name of improving my game.  In a nutshell that is how you can to describe me, all I do and strive for is to improve my game,  I love a challenge and will always seek one.

As a candidate for your team, you will find that not only am I a team player but also a leader and will rise to the occasion when asked.  My coaches know they can always count on me to get the job done, even if the task is not something that I usually do.  I am looking for a university that can help bring out the best student-athelete that I can be.
