Personal Statement
I want to be the best person that I can be on and off the field. I also want to be successful in and out of school. It is important to work hard for what you want to achieve in life. Receiving my college diploma is a top priority for me. I try to make sure that I am a positive influence on my fellow classmates and teammates. No matter the outcome of a game, I want my teammates to know I left everything on the field, and that no matter what we are brothers. I would make sure that my brothers and I would be proud of the way we played and we would have no doubt that we did all that we could to win and be a positive influence to all those on the field. I am very flexible as well. Meaning, if a coach feels I’m better suited in a difference position, I will do what is needed for the team. I feel my character is one that makes God proud. I hope that my team and classmates would be able to come an talk to me about whatever they needed to. I also try to to put people before myself. I feel that this is the way I act athletically. I will do whatever it takes to be the best I can be. Sacrifices have to made at times in life. Academically I struggle and I am not proud of that. I know I need to work harder in school than other people. I have been working extra hard to bring my grades to where I want them to be. My parents are very supportive and push my sisters and myself to do the best they know we are capable of doing. In the end I feel God has gave me a gift and I want to make sure I use it for the right thing. I want to use it to be the best man I can grow up to be.
