I am a 6'3" 285 pound offensive guard at Dublin Jerome high school. My GPA is currently a 3.3/4.0. I am a Varsity starter on the football team and I currently lead my team in 'pancake" blocks. I am a natural leader and have been elected to the "leadership council" for three years straight. ( A peer elected position in which you represent your class with another teammate from you class and talk about issues and progressions of the team to the coaching staff.) I am also a thespian and have been selected as a member of the PAC (Principal's Advisory Committee) . It has been my goal and desire to play college football since I was a child. I plan to do everything in my power to achieve this goal. You will find that I am a hard-worker, a leader, a determined player, and a fantastic teammate. I was voted a Team Captain this off season.
My career goals are undecided. Entering my Junior year, I have a personal goal of making all-OCC (our division) 1st team selection. I have played Guard (Freshman), Center (Sophomore) and now been moved to Power Guard (Junior). Our offense is run-oriented, and the Power Guard is the key position leading the ground attack, often pulling 25+ times per game. I make all the line calls as a Guard, and possess a 37 inch arm reach and excellent footwork.
Academically I want to end my high school academic career with a 3.5 GPA or higher. Currently my GPA is 3.34.
