Dear Coach,
My aspirations for college football are to leave a legacy. I want people to come to watch me play college football and remember me for the person I am. I want to be a person that people, especially kids, can look up to. I want my jersey to be the one kids want to wear, not only because of how I play but the example I set on and off the field. My ultimate goal is to excel at the collegiate level. Along with this goal, I want to be an example to my younger brothers, to my family, to my community and beyond. I have overcome many obstacles on my path to my dreams, including a torn right and left ACL. I have underwent hours of therapy and training to surpass where I was pre-injury. My hard work and dedication has overcome numerous things and they will hopefully lead me to my dreams.
Education is very important to me. My aspirations in education include attaining a degree in the field of my choice in Pre-Med and graduating with a GPA of 3.8 or higher. Unfortunately, the world does not watch us take our exams, they watch us play football. Again, the example I set off the field is just as, if not more important than the example, I set on the field. Wherever my dreams and hopes take me, I hope to continue to be involved athletics because athletics are a part of me.
Thank you for taking the time to read my letter and review my website. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
