Personal Statement

My goal as a collegiate athlete is to accomplish three things. The first is to receive a college education. The second is to win football games. Third, is to succeed in all aspects of life on and off the field.

After suffering from a season-ending injury during my Freshman year, and having to sit out my Sophomore year during recovery, I came to appreciate the sport I've always loved even more. It also provided me with the opportunity to study the game in more depth from an "X's and O's" perspective, allowing me to take my on-the-field performance to an even higher level upon my return as Varsity starter my Junior year. Playing injury-free for the entire season, coupled with the challenges of successfully making up for lost time academically as well, my desire to win in all aspects of life are greater than ever.
