2015 HighlightsPersonal Statement
My name is Jorge Spagnuolo, starting my fourth year as a Varsity starter this next week at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson, Ohio.
. Here at Western Reserve Academy I am starting on both sides of the ball and have been selected as a captian for this season We finished last year 6-3, with a couple victories over teams we hadn't beaten in some time. I am proud of the fact that we improved greatly from before I arrived when the team had a 2-8 record. We now look for bigger things this year. I am blessed and thankful for winning the MVP award for Varsity football in 2014 and have challenged a few teammates the chance to get better and try to take it from me this season. So far, we have some very pumped up team members getting ready for a big 2015.
I have been looking to enter a college by earning an athletic scholarship where I am able to develop with hard work and focus. Currently I carry a weighted GPA of near 3.5 and am ranked in the top 40% of a very competitive class. By challenging myself now with AP and Honors classes I am prepared to handle a robust schedule during my years of college. As well as having the maturity to handle being away from home I look forward to being able to contribute immediately to my selected school and be a leader through hard work in the class room and on the field.
