Personal Statement
My name is Dillon Daxe. I am a junior student at Archbishop Alter High School. My personal goals are to attend college and play football at the next level. I am confident I possess multiple qualities which will help me become a successful college player. First, I'm very passionate about the game and thrive on competition. Outside of faith, family and school, football is everything to me. I live and breathe football. My passion for the game motivates me to be the best I can be. I am fully committed to building strength and improving my skills. I owe this to my team, my coaches and myself! Secondly, I am a dedicated and hard worker. I have a strong work ethic which makes me successful both in the classroom and on the field. I believe that I can accomplish whatever I put my mind to. I will always try to outwork the people around me, pushing myself and my teammates to our peak capabilities. Lastly, I possess sound qualities not just as a tight end, but as a versatile football player. I can block on the line and split-out wide. I strive to improve my blocking skills every day in practice. I am confident in my ability to go up and catch the ball. Given the opportunity, I promise you, I'm very good at getting open and making a play. Unfortunately, I don't have the receiving stats to show for it because of our run heavy offensive play calling. I take pride in my contributions as a special team’s player too. I led in tackles on the kickoff team both my sophomore and junior years. I was on the kick return and hands teams and even had an opportunity to return a few punts. I look forward to the development of my strength and speed during my off season training. Thank you for your consideration.
