Personal Statement
The only thing better than playing football is winning at football, and I’ve been winning on the football field since 3rd grade. I was the running back on my youth team, and we won our JV and Varsity league championships. I love winning at football so much that in 8th grade, I transferred to Wadsworth, a district with a great football program known for its excellent run game. As a 10th grade starting back, I helped my Grizzlies JV team achieve an undefeated 10-0 season. In 2014, I led my varsity team to the Division I play-offs and was awarded First Team All-Ohio honors for my 2,150 yards. I am a fierce football competitor. It’s in my DNA, inherited from my dad, along with his natural speed and athleticism. Truth is, I can’t wait to get back on the field as a senior to fight, claw, and scrape my way into the end zone and help put my team on top. And I won’t stop there. After graduating in 2016, I intend to play at the college level, where I will continue to hone my athletic abilities and football I.Q. while helping a great college team to a winning season.
