Personal Statement
Football is my passion. I have always dreamed of playing collegiate football and over the last several years, I have been preparing for my future high school and College athletic careers. Beginning in the 6th grade through 8th grade, I worked out at D1 Sports Training in Cincinnati, Ohio. In the 8th grade, I was invited to play on a select football team that traveled to Gatlinburg, Tennessee for the annual Thanksgiving Bowl. Our team, the Cincinnati FSU, won all three of our games at that tournament. My contributions to both the CFSU offense and defense included two touchdowns, two fumble recoveries, and two sacks, as well as a number of blocks and tackles. During the summer before my freshman year at St. Xavier High School (2012), I was asked to lift weights and condition with the Junior varsity team, rather than the freshman team. That summer I also participated in Speed Application, which is a speed and acceleration training class, with high school varsity and college athletes. These preparations paid off because I was chosen to be the starting running back on my freshman “A” team. (The freshman team consisted of 114 players, divided into A and B teams). My freshman team went 5-1, and I had two touchdowns on the season.
As a sophomore, I have been playing both Varsity (RB) and Junior Varsity (RB/MLB). Please click on the link below to view my hudl.com page:
