Personal Statement
Playing football in college has been a top goal of mine since elementary school. I’ve played football since 2nd grade. When playing, my goal is to be the hardest working and most physical athlete on the field. I am very competitive and have a strong work ethic on and off of the field. Coach selected me to lead off-season platoons starting my sophomore year. A privilege usually reserved for upper class men. I’ve been working for my family’s lawn & landscape company since I was 12. I was able to use this experience to earn by State FFA degree.
I take my academics very seriously. I believe that having high grades and a high GPA is important. I took algebra in 8th grade to get a head start. I prefer to take lead roles such as President and VP of my 4-H club as well as group leader at 4-H camp. Leading doesn’t always mean being an officer. Leading also means being a positive influence to my teammates and classmates.
