Personal Statement
In the middle of my sophomore year I made a goal to play football at the college level. I aim in each workout, practice and game to give 100% effort. I want to find a team that is built as a family, and to be surrounded by individuals with good character. I work hard and strive to be the best I can be. I always give effort and I'm not a follower. I do what is right. One trait that I have always had is I will not lie. Over the years my friends have teased me about it but as we've grown I see the respect I have earned from being honest. In athletics I am All Ohio in two Sports. I wrestle heavyweight. I wrestle to increase my mental and cardio endurance for football. Academically, I struggled my freshman year but I realized how much I wanted to play football at a college level. In the middle of my sophomore year I started working very hard to achieve my goals. Since that time I have been an A/Bstudent.
The first football game of my senior year at Sandy Valley High School I tore my ACL. A few weeks later I had surgery . Five months after my surgery I participated in the tournaments and placed first in the state . I had offers for wrestling at the college level But chose not to accept because football is my passion . This year I decided to attend Western Reserve Academy for a postgrad year. I feel it will be a good transition year for me to grow professionally, academically and athletically.
