My parents, family and church have been a major influence in my life. I enjoy volunteering at our church and my grandmother's church with children's ministry and at the food pantry. I like traveling with my family in the summer and going to my aunt's lake house with all of my cousins. I've played football for 8 years. I started loving football when my dad signed me up for flag football when I was in 1st grade. I loved playing defense and getting that flag or blocking for my teammate to score. My mom and my family were always on the sidelines cheering my team on. I moved to Maryland when I was in 4th grade and started playing tackle football. My family has always been there supporting me in my aspiration to play to football in college. When I was in 7th grade I got sick and missed a whole season of football. It was really hard for me to not be able to play, but I would go watch the practices and games when I was able to. My 7th grade summer I trained and reviewed Hudl in order to be prepared for my 8th grade season. I learned to persevere that summer in order to achieve a starting position on my 8th grade football team. Last year my father and grand-dad encouraged me to play as a TE and Linebacker; up until then I had played as a lineman. This year we moved back to Ohio. I am enrolled at Newark Catholic high school. I started on varsity as a a DE, LB and TE. I had a phenomenal season check out my highlights. Despite the pandemic I pushed through worked hard and achieved my goals. I believe these positions will benefit my team and myself.
My parents have always said "Grades are important more than football." Our family rule is good grades allow you to play football and earn other privileges. I enjoy math and science classes. I hope to pursue a degree in Physical Therapy/Athletic Training and I would also like look into coaching Football.
