Personal Statement
From my first days as a manager for the High School football team I knew that I wanted to be a Tiger and carry on the rich tradition of Shadyside Football. Being around the older kids and watching what it took to be a Tiger, I've been blessed to have been taught the right way to do things. Starting peewee tackle football as a 6 year old I have played with many great athletes and teammates from all over the Ohio Valley. The coaches I have had throughout my football life have been a huge influence on me and made me realize how hard work pays off.
As a junior I have been lucky to have had great teammates that have helped me become the player and teammate that I am currently. It's a great honor to play for Shadyside High School and I appreciate the opportunity of playing on both sides of the ball.
Cornerback is my main position and something I enjoy a great deal, but I feel being able to play wide receiver helps me become a better defensive player also.
I have played 4 sports each of my first 2 years of High School and it is very time consuming going from one sport to the next, but I love being active and competing. I look forward to the remainder of my High School career and am excited of the possibility of continuing my educational and athletic career in college.
