Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Grahme Croslin. I am an Eagle Scout with T168 in Oklahoma City. I received my Eagle Scout 2 years ago. During my time as a Boy Scout, I have helped with multiple community service projects including working at the Regional Food Bank, ringing bells for Salvation Army, and various community walks/runs. For the past two summers I have have worked on staff for National Youth Leadership Training helping younger scouts develop leadership skills. I am a member of my school's National Honor Society program and have worked with the 9th grade program helping new students to the school. I have been a Varsity starter since my sophomore year in high school. I am a dedicated athlete working numerous hours both on and off the field to become a better player on the football field. This year I am one of the team captains and am a leader on the Offensive and Defensive line. I have put everything into playing football, from school work, to waking up early before school starts to workout, to extra workouts after regular practice. During this time, I have developed my squat max up to 450 lbs, a bench press of 315 lbs, and 40 yd dash of 5.3. In addition to football and scouting, I work as a lifeguard at the YMCA. My family and I attend Lifechurch. I have a strong work ethic and have learned to balance team sports with academics and a work schedule, learning that diligence and dedication are important to future success.
