Beau Davis '15 Recruiting Profile

My name is Beau Davis and I am an inside linebacker at Guthrie High School, Guthrie, OK, with a 4.0 GPA, scheduled to graduate in 2015. I am 6'1" and weigh 215 pounds.  I started as a sophomore in 2012 on a team that reached the Class 5A Quarterfinals and had 64 tackles.  In 2013, my team won the Oklahoma Class 5A State Championship and finished the year with 14 wins and 0 losses.  I led the team with 131 tackles and our defense allowed an average of 39 yards rushing and less than 10 points per game.  In 2014, I again led the team in tackles with 137 and our defense allowed an average of 40 yards rushing and 8.9 points per game.  I was recently named the District 5A-2 Defensive Player of the Year.  I run a 4.7 forty yard dash, bench 285 and squat 435.  I would love the opportunity to continue to play at the college level and to further my education.  I enjoy math and plan on majoring in engineering.  My most recent Composite ACT score was a 28 and my Math score was 32.  After you have looked at my film sample and personal information, please contact me if you feel I would be a good fit for your program.  Thank you for your consideration.
