Aaron Herbig '17 Recruiting Profile

My name is Aaron Herbig, I am 5’11 1/2, 270 lbs. I play on the offensive and defensive line in Oklahoma and play for Jenks High School. I value my family, my faith and my education.

My goal/dream for football is to play at the next level in college. I am most comfortable playing on the offensive side of the ball and I play on defense as well. I am a leader on and off the field and I take pride in encouraging others to be the best that they can be. I love to be in the gym whether it’s with my team, with a personal trainer, or by myself. I am in a high quality football program. We know the importance of being dedicated and giving all your effort whether you're on the field, in the classroom, or in the weightroom. I am a committed, hard working, and coachable athlete. If I make an error on a play I do my best to correct it in the future with the help of my coaches. I am also a wrestler in the offseason and have placed 4th in state my first year, wrestling a grade above me. Being a wrestler helps me with my footwork, using my hands, and flexibility in football.

My goal is to go to a school where the quality of academics help me to achieve goals in my future, as well as a great football program.
