My name is Michael Warren I am a Senior running back at Lawton High school in Oklahoma and currently on "BLACK WATCH/Team Captain". I hold a couple offers on the table such as: Washington State, Toledo, New Mexico, South Dakota, Southern Miss, Tulsa, and Sam Houston St. but I believe this is this most important decision that I'm going to make as a young adult, so I am looking to increase my options greatly. During my junior season I was a starting defensive end due to my quickness off the line, and I played 4th team running back. Midway through my junior year, I was promoted to starting running back and gained 440 yds on 50 carries. I have been voted as player of the week 4 times in Oklahoma by Friday Night Blitz and KSWO News. I was also named Genghis Grill's Warrior of the Week for area city football players. I was voted for District 6a-4 MVP. I am currently the rushing leader in Oklahoma 6A football with 2,512 yds on 268 carries through twelve games . In game 4 I broke former OU star and Lawton High Alumni Dewell Brewer's single game rushing record with 301 yds. In game seven I broke my own rushing record of 301yds, with a new record of 358 yds. One of my main goals is to play college football but at the same time further my education. I plan on attaining a degree in Sports Medicine. I really enjoy sports so when my football career is over I wish to still be involved with game. On top of football I also run track, I run the 4x100, 100m, and 200m. My fastest time in the 100m is a 10.75 laser time and a 22.09 for the 200m. I qualified for state as a member of the 4X100 relay team. Outside of sports I am involved in the Gentleman's Club at Lawton High, it's a group of males that dress in formal attire to show community support and also give pride to our school. I am a motivated student athlete that looks to better my future through hard work and dedication which are my biggest strengths.
