Hello, my name is Clay Trotter. I am a two year starter at middle linebacker for Mustang High School, one of the largest 6A schools in Oklahoma. I made First Team All District Linebacker this year. I have been playing football since I was 4 years old and it has always been a dream of mine to play at the college level. I am a very hard worker and a competitor on and off the field. In addition to playing football, I was a state qualifier as a junior in power lifting. My goal is to win state this year. I also won first place in the state this past summer in an NRA sponsored shooting sports competition. I currently have a 3.4 GPA, and will be taking my ACT test in December.
My passions are my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, football, hunting and the great outdoors, and of course my family. I am currently considering a degree in law enforcement/criminal justice or wildlife management/game warden. After college, I am considering joining the Air Force and becoming an officer to serve my country.
I have overcome many obstacles on and off the field and have learned how hard work pays off. I am excited to attend college and participate in a collegiate football program, and to start the next phase of my life. I am open to any college where I can play football and I want to be an asset to the college that I attend. Currently I play Middle Linebacker, but I am open to play any position needed to help the team.
Thank you for your consideration,
Clay W. Trotter
