I started playing football my freshman year in high school. Before then I played competitive soccer. From my first football game I knew that football was my passion. I have been starting kicker all four years but with limited opportunities to show my skills I have not been well recognized, due to lack of opportunity. I have went to several kicking camps to improve my skills. I knew I needed to help the team in whatever form I could so I have been a starting receiver and cornerback for 3 years of my high school career. From the very beginning I had the want to be in on every play of the game to make a contribution to the outcome of the game. I feel if I am involved in any play I can make a difference.
Every minute I have either in game situation, practice, in the weight room and or the classroom I am working to improve my physical skills, personal skills and mental aspect to become the best player I can be. I encourage all my teammates either on the field, the class room or in life. I lead by example at all times hoping that if I make one change in someone's life they will come back and thank me. I want to be successful in all aspects of my life and with my families guidance and with perseverance in my goals to become the best person I can be, I will succeed.
I have played several other sports but the main one I keep coming back to is Football. I love it for the team aspect of the it. I want to be a part of a program that has integrity in life situations and also with the ability to provide a very solid education. I would like to play at a college level, and if given that chance, I will show my skills. I am an all around athlete that can kick a football very well but will play whatever position I am needed to, to help the team.
